Dan Lipman has represented Fortune 500 companies, but his passion is representing injured people and their families in personal injury cases. He has extensive experience pursuing a wide range of personal injury cases including sex assault cases, child injury cases, and complex medical malpractice matters. Through his career, he has attained millions in judgments for injured people and their families.
Dan has repeatedly been named in Super Lawyers and is selected to Super Lawyers “Top 100” lawyers in Colorado. In addition, he has been selected by his peers for inclusion in Best Lawyers in America and, in 2017, Best Lawyers in America named Dan “Lawyer of the Year” for Plaintiffs Medical Malpractice Law in Denver.
Mr. Lipman is also proud to be included in the “Top 100 Trial Lawyers” by The National Trial Lawyers, as well as in “Top Lawyers” in Denver’s 5280 Magazine. Martindale-Hubble recognizes Dan’s skills with an “AV-Preeminent” rating, the highest rating for legal ability and ethical standards based upon a lengthy peer review process.
Dan also serves as a faculty member at the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA), teaching litigation skills to other lawyers. He has often been a guest speaker at the University of Colorado School of Law and the University of Colorado Hospital. He has spoken at numerous seminars and has lectured nationally on personal injury law.
Mr. Lipman graduated from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and was admitted into the Order of St. Ives, an honorary distinction for graduating in the top 10% of his law school class. Dan is an avid skier and fisherman. He is a passionate fan of the University of Colorado Buffaloes and the Boston Red Sox. He enjoys spending time with his wife, his 7-year-old daughter, and his Great Pyrenees dog, Tommy.
